Out
of Sight - Compilation 1997 |
Angela's
notes about the "Out Of Sight" compilation CD...
"Brian
Wice and I produced "Out of Sight" as a fundraiser
for the Hamilton Canadian National Institute for the Blind
Capital Campaign. It's a compilation of 16 blind and visually
impaired artists. The CD was recorded at JSG Recording Services.
Track 1 is "There Aught To Be A Law" by Michael
Lewis, and track 12 "The Time Will Be Right" was
contributed by George Kohut (the "G" in JSG Recording
Services). My contribution was "I Don't Mind" (track
13) and the CD ends off with "Tunnel Vision" by
Brian Wice (track 20)"

Angela
McKay - Milestones |
Angela's
notes about her "Milestones" CD...
"Milestones"
are the first recordings I did back in 1997 at JSG recording
services. "The Challenge" was written for "The
Twin Tower Run/The Challenge" in which Doug Brown ran
from the Skylon tower in Niagara Falls (Ontario, Canada) to
the CN Tower in Toronto as a fundraiser for "Victims
Of Violence". Both pledges and proceeds from the sale
of the song "The Challenge" went to Victims of Violence.
The cover of "Milestones" is a picture of the angel
playing guitar that we have on the angel cave studios
front door. The metalwork was designed by Jim Davies. My niece
and five of my friends'
children came in to add their angelic voices to "The
Challenge" and did an amazing job! This CD was mainly
for all of my family and friends that kept saying when can
we hear something from you!"
